Lakeside Kennel & Cattery Our mission is to care for each and every pet that comes through our doors with love, compassion, and fun. Our services include Boarding, Daycare & Grooming.

Lakeside Kennel & Cattery has been dedicated to providing its customers with peace of mind while away on vacation, in the hospital, or any other planned/unplanned event since 1972. Staffed by REAL animal people, you can be sure that your pet is in a safe, healthy, and loving environment. We are an indoor/outdoor facility with a separate cattery. We also provide a complimentary DOG PARK for all of

our clients' enjoyment! Our office is closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. ​Please call the office for specifics as to arrival and departure times on each holiday. From childhood dreams of becoming a vet tech to finding her true calling at Lakeside, Samantha’s path has always been guided by her love for animals. After a few years in retail, she returned to her passion—and we couldn’t be more grateful.

As our Pet Care Coordinator, Sam brings calm, compassionate energy to every furry guest. Her gentle nature and kind heart make her a favorite among the pets (and the humans too). Whether she’s soothing a nervous newcomer or making sure each pup’s day runs smoothly, Sam’s care is felt in every detail.

She’s a beautiful reminder that sometimes the right path finds you when you’re ready to walk it 🐾

Thomas brings a wealth of experience to Lakeside, with years spent working in breeding facilities, boarding kennels, and shelters across the U.S. His deep understanding of animal care is matched only by his gentle, intuitive approach—earning trust from even the most reserved pets.

As our Animal Care Supervisor, Thomas sets the tone for calm, compassionate handling and thoughtful routines. His incredible leadership and steady presence are felt the moment he walks through the door, creating a sense of safety and stability for both pets and staff alike.

🌿 Meet the Team Monday: Michaela 🌿 Assistant Team Lead · Dreamer · Dog Whisperer

Michaela’s story is one of heart, growth, and full-circle moments. She first joined Lakeside at 18 as a kennel tech, quickly proving herself with her quiet confidence and deep care for every animal. In 2022, she stepped away to explore new paths—but it didn’t take long for her to realize her true calling: to one day own a kennel of her own.

This year, Michaela returned to Lakeside with renewed purpose and a clear vision for her future. As our Assistant Team Lead, she brings calm leadership, thoughtful mentorship, and a passion for learning that lifts the whole team. Her journey inspires us daily—and her dream reminds us why we do what we do.

We’re so proud to have Michaela back, and even prouder to be part of the chapter she’s writing now 💫

Each month, we’ll roll out new scent themes (think forest trails, cozy campfires, seaside breezes) to spark curiosity, calm nerves, and make tails wag.

Why sniff? Because scent is your dog’s superpower—and we’re giving them a playground to use it.
