Winnie's training journey wasn't without a few unexpected challenges, but through it all, she and her paw-parents never gave up. 💯

With patience, consistency, and lots of dedication, Winnie has made wonderful progress and grown into a calmer, more confident young pup. 👏

Welcome JERRY to the AFDT Pack! 🐾

Recently rescued and already stealing hearts, Jerry is a 3-month-old Lab/Shepherd mix with a bright future ahead.

Hey Human...

You see a toy.

I see something important.

To you, it looks like I'm claiming it.

To me, it feels like something I don't want to lose.

Maybe it's my favorite.

Maybe I'm afraid another dog will take it.

Maybe I just don't know I can trust the situation yet.

Understanding why I guard it doesn't excuse the behavior...

🥳 Training Complete!

Great job Stella & Family! 💜

In just four lessons, Stella and her family have built a strong foundation together. From reinforcing commands and improving leash walking to introducing Place, they've put in the time, practiced at home, and made wonderful progress.

There's still more work to do with door greetings, but every lesson has helped Stella and her family move in the right direction.

Training doesn't stop here - it's the daily consistency that builds confidence and lasting success.

🐾 Meet BAXTER (aka BOO)!

Not every dog comes to training to learn Sit or Down.

Baxter already has a great obedience foundation. She's joining us for a couple Individual Lessons to work on loose leash walking and building confidence around bikes and busy places.

By helping both Baxter and her paw-parents understand her reactions, they're building the confidence needed to enjoy walks together.

Welcome COOPER to the AFDT Pack! 🐾

Cooper is an adorable 9 week-old Black Labrador Retriever with all the energy you'd expect from a Lab puppy... except during his Puppy Starter lesson! 😄 He decided the best use of our visit was catching up on sleep while his paw-parents asked lots of great questions.

Our Puppy Starter lesson is designed to help families build a strong foundation from day one. We cover everything from potty training and crate training to establishing routines, understanding puppy development, and creating good habits early - giving new puppy owners the guidance they need to start off on the right paw.

Over the past four lessons, Spartacus has come a long way. From a tiny puppy learning the ropes to a much more confident little guy, he's made wonderful progress and built a great foundation for the future.

Welcome AURORA to the AFDT Pack! 🐾

Aurora is an adorable 11-week-old Mini Poodle! After 25 years without a puppy, her family wanted a little guidance to help them get started on the right paw.

Our Puppy Starter lesson is designed to help new puppy owners build a strong foundation from day one. Together, we covered potty training, crate training, routines, puppy development, and how to establish good habits early. Every puppy is different, so we also answered their questions and created a plan that works for their family. As Aurora grows, we're always here to help guide them through the next steps in her training.

Brownie, an 8-year-old Pitzu, and Cocoa, a 9-year-old Morkie, have wonderful paw-parents who recognized a few changes at home and chose to address them early. They're putting in the work to reinforce good habits and build on the great relationship they already have with both girls.
