The gang’s all here, and we’re giving Remmy and Stormy a little extra challenge today by adding a new pal to the mix! 🤗 Nomi is playing the role of my trusty “anchor dog” today, helping show these kids the ropes and giving us another opportunity to work on neutrality around another dog.
Remmy has had a bit of a harder time with this exercise than Stormy, so I’ve had to be consistent and follow through each time he’s attempted to pop off his bed. He can certainly be a pushy fella, so it’s important that we make the expectations clear and consistent, rather than allowing him to negotiate his way around them. 😉 As the Rolling Stones would say, “You can’t always get what you waaaaaant.” 😂
Stormy, on the other hand, did really well! We had a few excited barks when I first brought Nomi out, but she settled right in! A little extra challenge, some good learning opportunities, and another day of building those skills! Owwww weee! 🫶🏼
