Bolibochas 🐶

Alex and I bought our dog Boli in 2010 in Cuernavaca, México when we had been dating for just one year.
We never imagined how much this little boy would change our lives.

When Boli was 4 years old, I took him to a grooming salon, and he came home with blood in his eyes.
I was scared and thought someone had hurt him, so I decided to go to grooming school to learn how to groom him myself. I wanted to make sure he was always safe. ❤️

I never imagined that years later, after moving to Chatham, this decision would lead us to open our own grooming business!

Today, with a very heavy heart, I want to share that our sweet Bolibochas has crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈

Our very first baby, who was with us when Alex and I were just starting our life together, is leaving us.
I can never thank him enough for all his love and for leading me to something we now love doing every day.

We love you Boli, we love you so much!
You will forever be part of our family and the reason our dog grooming journey began 🩵 🐾

Dear Spaw Patrol Family 💙🐾,

I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for every message, call, prayer, and beautiful gesture of love and support I have received over these past few weeks.

I feel incredibly blessed to have such caring clients who have shown so much love and support to me and my family 🙏🏻

As many of you know, in June I experienced a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack). After that episode, my doctors ran a series of tests that, thankfully, detected a brain aneurysm that requires treatment. Right now, I am continuing with more medical testing and preparing for surgery, which will be very important for my health.

Unfortunately, I will need to travel to Mexico to receive the treatment I need. This means being away from my home, my family and my beloved Spaw Patrol while I focus on my treatment and recovery.
Being away from all of you, even for a little while, is one of the hardest parts of this journey. 💔

Please know that Spaw Patrol will remain OPEN and continue caring for your beloved pets. In fact, we will be open even more hours during this time.
My husband Alex along with our WONDERFUL team, will continue taking care of your furry family members with the same love and dedication you have always trusted us with🫶

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we adjust to this new chapter. This is a new experience for our family and our team, and we are doing everything we can to make this transition as smooth as possible.

Spaw Patrol is not only my passion, it is our family’s main business, which makes stepping away even harder. However, I know that right now the most important thing is to put my health first, so I can recover and come back stronger 💪🏻🧠

Your kindness, prayers, and encouragement mean more to me than words can express.

Dear Spaw Patrol Clients,

Due to a recent medical event, I will be out of work this week while I focus on my recovery.

Some appointments may need to be rescheduled, and for those appointments that remain as scheduled, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding with my husband Alex, who will be managing the business and caring for your pets while I am away.

This Wednesday, come on out to the GHS Homecoming Parade to cheer on the Titans! We hear they will be throwing out lots of candy! 😃

The 2025 Glenwood High School Homecoming Parade kicks off Wednesday, October 1st at 5:30pm. Road closures will begin 30 minutes prior to the parade start time. Please plan accordingly if you live in or travel through this area. We ask that residents who live along the parade route avoid street parking during this time.

At approximately 5:15pm, no traffic will be allowed down Plummer Boulevard between Gordon Drive and Park Avenue.

NOTE: There will be no eastbound traffic allowed from GHS onto Plummer Boulevard until the parade has finished.

The parade route will run through Oakbrook subdivision and will cause many side street road closures during the parade time.

Please note that Oakbrook Avenue WILL be accessible throughout the parade road closure. The parade line up will begin in the west parking lot of Glenwood High School.
