Just a reminder, this pet-loss grief support event is coming up on August 2nd for anyone needing support. The event takes place at Capitol Illini Vet but anyone is welcome, it is open to the public.

Over the course of the summer, there will be several periods of time where we will be unavailable for appointments as Dr. K will be traveling with family or to veterinary conferences for continuing education. These dates include the following:

Due to the tragedy that has happened in Chatham, Dr. K will not be scheduling any appointments at this time as she cares for her family and as the community grieves this tragedy. We thank you for your understanding and please keep the community of Chatham in your thoughts and prayers.

Coming up on March 29th, a grief support group is scheduled and being held at Capitol Illini Vet. If you have been struggling with the loss of your pet this can be a way to find support and education.

If I have helped your family at the end of your pet's life, would you consider writing a review for my Google business profile? I just recently figured out how to create this Google profile without having a physical address since Peaceful Tails is exclusively a mobile service. Providing reviews helps the profile become more visible, so more pet owners in need will be able to find help.
