Freddy is a 6-year-old, 16.3h Thoroughbred gelding I originally purchased as a 3-year-old resale project. Somewhere along the way, I got a little too attached to him, and I think that says plenty about the kind of horse he is! He’s always a barn favorite and an absolute blast to ride.
Freddy is well put together, athletic, and has excellent feet. He has experience trail riding, participating in Hunter paces, and cross-country schooling.
With a soft mouth and his own motor, he is particularly fun on the flat.
He can jump and has been cross-country schooling, but is still green over fences and would benefit from someone interested in developing that part of his education.
He has no vices, no known injuries, and has never done anything bad. He is an honest, fun boy who has been a good partner in everything he has been asked to do.
Freddy does appreciate a soft, sympathetic hand and a rider with an independent seat. He would be best suited to a rider who appreciates a responsive horse and enjoys having a fun partner to continue bringing along.
He’s the kind of horse that makes you look forward to riding, and as much as I have enjoyed having him, it’s time for him to find his own person.
