This event is hosted by Charlottesville Parks and Recreation and assisted by Animal Connection - All Natural Store for Healthy Pets, Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA.
All dogs should be on a leash except for when enjoying the off-leash play areas. Please make sure your dog is good with other dogs and small children AND your rabies shots are up to date.

Your pups can enjoy frozen DOGGY GELATO & TREATS, enter to WIN RAFFLE PRIZES, splash in WADING POOLS, test their skills on a FUN MINI AGILITY COURSE, and strike a pose in the PHOTO BOOTH. Don’t miss the "DOGS & DADS LOOK A LIKE CONTEST" for great prizes and some hilarious, heartwarming fun. KONA ICE and STREET DOG food trucks will be on site. Well, it's June 4 and National Hug Your Cat Day, featuring the most huggable kitties, my pals from McGinnis Meadows Cattle & Guest Ranch! We've got a great selection of cat treats and toys at Animal Connection - All Natural Store for Healthy Pets that are sure to entice your cat to "tolerate" a human hug (they're cats, so it's their choice, right?).
We'll be celebrating National Cat Month by helping some of our favorite non-profits with much needed kitty food. And having fun with Take Your Cat To Work Day and World Cat Domination Day plus other feline fun events... stay tuned!
