One day they will all be gone, but I would do it all over again.

I would endure the heartbreak a thousand times just for the chance to walk this earth with them.

They are some of my greatest joys, even knowing that one day they will be some of my deepest heartaches.

I hope they find me in every life. I hope that whatever comes next, somehow, we always find each other.

Every lifetime. Every version of me.

Remember to live for yourself and no one else.

If people donā€™t like you, thatā€™s a them problem, not a you problem. Youā€™re never going to be able to please everyone, so love the people who matter and screw the rest of them.

Do what brings you joy. Fill your cup with the things that matter to you.

We canā€™t pour from an empty cup, and youā€™ll never fill yours by living for everyone else.

Itā€™s your life. Take up space. Be too much. Do what makes you happy, and stop apologizing for it.

My heart is still heavy and Iā€™m still struggling with everything that happened this week. But I also donā€™t want to live in the sadness.

So hereā€™s a little bit of light in a really heavy week a photo taken by my friend Lauren Stierman of a few of the dogs who help me cope when life gets hard. ā¤ļø

Sometimes the best thing you can do is surround yourself with the things that bring you happiness while you learn to carry the grief.
