We got some Pop-Up scheduled!
Here is what we got on the schedule right now and we are in the process of adding even more as our schedule allows:

Sunday, 9/21 at 12:30pm: Teach Me A Trick (trick training for beginners)
Tuesday, 9/30 at 7:30pm: Come Here! ( a lesson on come when called)
Sunday, 10/5 at 12:30pm: What are you saying (a discussion of canine body language)
Tuesday 10/7 at 7:30pm: Stop! Thief! (a lesson on leave it and drop it)

And of course we will be painting with our pups around the holidays again!

Get ready to unleash your inner Picasso at our Paint Your Pet fundraiser for One at a Time K-9 Rescue next weekend.

One At a Time K9 Rescue is a small but mighty rescue often tackling tricky medical cases. Their superhero efforts are fueled by adoption fees and donations. So, that's where we come in!

Sure, this fundraiser is an artsy-fartsy event, but no worries! You don’t need any artistic talent of your own because Elizabeth from Eza Arts will be your guide and helping hand.

Bring your sister, your bestie, your partner, or your neighbor. Grab some vino, and make it an evening to remember!

Here’s what you’ll get for your $85 fee:
All the art supplies you will need,
Snacks and soft drinks to keep the creative juices flowing,
3 hours of giggles, creativity, and fun with your favorite people,
Somebody else to clean up the mess when you are done,
A pet masterpiece for yourself or a heartwarming gift for someone special,
And, most importantly, that warm fuzzy feeling of supporting a rescue that truly deserves it with a $35 donation.

Hound Hike Alert!
The days are getting more and more gorgeous out there! It's the perfect time to treat yourself and your pup to a little time in nature.

On Sunday, 9/14/25 at 2pm Geauga Park District's naturalist Karie will meet us at the Crystal Lake Shelter at Headwater's Park. From there we will go on an easy hike along the Buckeye Trail. John will be there to share some helpful tips and answer questions you may have about your dog along the path.

Here some more details:
The hike is scheduled to last about 90minutes. Don't forget to bring dog towels, water, a water bowl, p**p scoop and bags for dog clean-up. Only one dog per handler, who must be able to fully control dog. Dogs must be kept on leash at all times (6 ft. max). Dogs must be non-aggressive to people and other dogs.

No registration is required!

We only do this once a year - and just before the holiday season craziness starts:
Our Paint Your Pet fundraiser is coming up!
There is no artistic talent required, as our local artist from EZA ARTS is there to help and guide you.
Bring your sister or your best friend, bring your spouse or neighbor, bring some vino and make an evening out of it!

Here is what you will get:
All art supplies that you need, snacks and soft drinks, 3 hours of giggling, creativity, and time with your besties, a masterpiece of your pet or a super special personal present for somebody else, and most importantly the warm fuzzy feeling of doing something good for a rescue who truly deserves it.

The event will be held on Saturday, 9/20/25 from 6-9pm. Fee is $85 which includes a $35 donation to One at a Time K-9 Rescue and all of the above.

Happy National Dog Day!
Let's celebrate by supporting our local rescues and do something for your furry kid at the same time!

Here are our Back to School deals for the next two weeks (until 9/9/2025):

1. Donate to a local (Geauga and surrounding counties) shelter/rescue, and we'll match it with up to $40 off your next group class. Just pick a class, send your donation to the rescue, snap a pic of the receipt, and email it to us. We'll fetch you a discount and get you signed up! Here's the link to our upcoming classes:

2. Bring us 20 pounds (or more) of dog food, and we'll fetch you $10 off your next class.

3. Adopted a dog from a local rescue between 8/1/25 and 9/9/2025? Show us your adoption certificate, and we'll wag 20% off a class or private session for that pup scheduled before the end of 2025.

And remember, our rescue program is still going strong! Adoptable dogs and their amazing volunteers/fosters/rescue staff can join many of our group classes for free, as long as there's space (foster-to-adopt not included).

Clear the shelters by clearing your closets! We will also gladly accept any other donations (money, raffle items, or otherwise) and deliver them as they come in.

On September 20th from 6-9pm we are hosting our Paint Your Pet Fundraiser for our friends at One at a Time K-9 Rescue again.

The cool thing is, you don't need to be an artist to attend! Elizabeth from EZA ARTS will be there to help and guide us. This is an opportunity to immortalize your favorite pet or maybe even create a super special gift for someone.

Cost is $85 per person. This includes all art supplies, snacks and soft drinks, and a $35 donation to One At A Time K9 Rescue. Bring a friend or three and maybe even a bottle of wine to share with them and enjoy a wonderful time with us.
Space is limited to 30 artists, dogs will have to stay home that day.
