This one is for our dog training-enthusiasts!
You said you would like to see more ongoing longterm classes to hone your skills, enrich your dog's life, become a closer team with your dog, and become part of a community that celebrates victories together - something past "just manners"...

So, we are thrilled to say that we are finally able to make it happen!
We have 2 new classes and our nosework class has room in it right now:

In Learn to Rally you and your dog learn how to glide through a course of precision skills together. From simple turns and sits to more polished exercises that sharpen focus and communication it almost feels like learning a dance with your 4-legged partner. Whether you’re just discovering Rally-O or already have experience in the sport, our instructor Pam will be able to meet you at your level.

If you would like to work on your skills but like it a little less predictable, want to explore some new talents, and try out different things, Smörgåsbord is the class for you. Tricks, dog sports, manners, outings, skills, community, and joy - you will find a little bit of everything in this class.

Nosework is about fine-tuning your dog's superpower and learn how to interpret your dog’s body language to detect when they’re hot on the scent trail. It allows your dog to show off what they were made for and brings a new level of joy into their life while bringing them closer to you.

We work with dogs. But if we learned anything from working with dogs and their people it is that sometimes people fall and need a helping hand or paw.
We were honored to support this important and wonderful organization. They help people who fell back on their feet and set them back on the road to freedom and stability.

We know many of you have been waiting...save the date!
Santa is coming to Cold Nose Companions again!

The big guy will be at our center on 11/22/26 (Sunday before Thanksgiving) to take pictures with your pets and family.
We are raising money for Neighborhood Pets in Cleveland. Your minimum donation of $15 helps provide emergency pet food and medical care for families in need in Cleveland, allowing pets to stay in their loving homes and taking the burden off our struggling shelters.
If you love animals and want to support shelters, but also love Christmas and want to share super cute pictures of your pet with your friends, this is the perfect event for you!

So - come in and tell all your friends, neighbors, family members about it. Get your pictures just in time to get Christmas cards printed and sent.
All people-friendly pets (not just dogs!) are welcome!

It‘s here! Fresh off the press, the new Friends of CITY DOGS Cleveland calendar is available at the training center.
Come and get it before the year runs out and you end up looking at a boring “normal” calendar!
This one comes preloaded with good karma: it’s $15 and the money supports the shelter.

Exciting news!
Starting 9/19/26 our new instructor Pam will offer her LEARN TO RALLY class at Cold Nose Companions.

Turn basic obedience into an exciting team sport! In Learn to Rally, you and your dog will learn the skills needed to navigate a numbered course filled with different obedience challenges while building focus, communication, and teamwork. No prior Rally experience needed—just a dog who knows the basics and a handler ready to have some fun! Whether you’re new to Rally or have a little experience under your belt, come strengthen your bond, learn something new, and discover just how much fun you can have working together! This class is best for dogs that are comfortable working closely around other dogs.
