We’re Danielle and Jason Moats, the local owners of Pet Wants Chardon, and we’re excited to meet you! We opened this business because we were looking for a way to pursue our entrepreneurial dreams while doing something we would enjoy, which is what led us to Pet Wants. We love being able to work with animals and pet families every day!
We have four kids (Alexis, Vinson, Savannah and Isaac) and five dogs (Harlem, Star, Brooklyn, Sabie and, our newest addition, Cookie) and we live in Perry. We both have roots in Ohio – Danielle was born in Lake County and Jason lived in Perry his whole life other than the three years we lived in Houston. We decided to move home and settle in Perry because we loved the small town charm and small community atmosphere.
We strongly believe that our health is dependent on what we put into our bodies – whether we have two legs or four legs. Pet Wants allows us to help pet owners better understand pet food so they can find the right products for their individual pets and it enables us to help pet families take a more holistic approach to pet health through both our food and our other unique products.
Our store is located at 209 Center Street in Chardon (opening soon) and we offer free, personal delivery to parts of Geauga, Lake and Cuyahoga Counties, including Madison, Perry, Chardon, Chesterland, Gates Mills, Mayfield, Wickliffe and East Cleveland. In addition we are expanding our delivery service into Bainbridge and Solon down into Twinsburg, Hudson and Aurora. We look forward to meeting you and your pets!
