Modern Companion is a specialty pet boutique catering to both dogs and cats. Our retail store gave us a home to showcase our line of accessories to our local community. We also curate other products with fantastic pet entrepreneurs and small businesses. We have a wide variety of chews, toys, health/wellness products, and even stuff for humans. Every product sold in our store is carefully curated,

I’ve got some hard news to share with you all. We will not hosting Fall Fido Festival this year. If you’ve been to one, you know what this day is and means to us. The whole pet community in one place. It’s a really great day and I’m truly so so sorry that we could not make it happen this year.

The honest reason is that Fall Fido takes months of planning and a real team to execute properly, and this year we’re just not there. I’d rather take a break and actually sit down and reevaluate it than put on a smaller version of a day that would not live up to everyone’s expectations. Our past vendors and sponsors already know. I wanted them to hear it from us before anyone else did.

Thank you for showing up for this thing year after year, for bringing your pups, and for making it what it is. You guys will be the first to know what’s next for it and we hope to bring it back next year. ❤️

Changing our store hours is my least favorite part of running this shop. I know it's frustrating to finally learn our schedule and then have it move on you, or to drive out here only to find the door locked. I'm truly sorry. I've had to adjust more than once this year and I don't take it lightly. Our team heads back to school this month, and these are the hours we can consistently be here for you. I'd rather give you hours you can count on than keep shuffling them around! Starting Monday, August 10, our hours will be:

Wednesday through Friday from 11am to 4pm & Saturday from 11am to 3pm

I also don't want our schedule to be the reason you can't come see us, so we're adding private shopping appointments. You get the shop to yourself for the whole slot and you can bring your pet! It's $20 to book and that full $20 goes toward whatever you take home.
