Meet the Team! This is Caroline – a Chapel Hill local, she's cared for all kinds of animals – from dogs and cats to a flock of chickens. After graduating from UNC Wilmington, she worked as a field archaeologist out west before making her way back home to Chapel Hill.

Caroline has been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family since she was a kid. She’s worked on a horse farm, has a background as a competitive equestrian, and knows how to handle animals with patience and care.

These days, she shares her home with her own beloved pets – Winnie, her gentle nine-year-old , and Kitty, a once-feral cat who now rules the household.

Meet the team! This is Koren – a new member of the Walk & Wag admin team! Koren is an NC native and lifelong animal lover with a big heart for furry friends. After earning her biology degree, she headed to Florida to be closer to family and dive into the world of veterinary medicine. Eventually, Koren took the leap and launched her own full-time pet sitting business, where she discovered her true calling in the pet care world!

In 2024, Koren made her way back to the Triangle area for a change of pace and to continue growing her career in the pet industry. When she’s not surrounded by wagging tails and happy paws, you’ll find her hiking wooded trails, swimming at the beach, or doting on her who proudly runs the household.

Meet the team! This is Dani – she has been surrounded by dogs her entire life, considering them cherished family members. Dani's love for animals led her to make pet sitting her primary focus. She is a dedicated volunteer at Eyes Ears Nose and Paws, helping train the next generation of service dogs.

When she’s not caring for pets, Dani enjoys baking, watching cheesy procedurals and reality competition shows, playing board games, and exploring North Carolina’s scenic trails. Though she doesn’t have a fur baby right now, her next big goal is to adopt a rescue of her own!
