Bruno learned a lot today! 🐾 He’s learning what structured play means—such a great way to build solid markers, communication, and a strong relationship with his mom.

He also learned “back” today (not shown in this clip), which will help him better understand spatial awareness.

I love how dedicated his mom is to his training. They’re building a great foundation together!

Today with Duncan we focused on building clear leash skills with his parents, along with indoor communication, heel work, and place work. 🐾

This is such a great example of massage and creating a positive association. ❤️

With everything Vance has been through — including all the medication and care he’s needed — he would normally whip his head around the second you even got near his neck.

I’m not touching the affected area at all, just gently massaging around it and helping him learn that hands near his neck don’t always mean medication or something uncomfortable.

Creating a new, positive association through calm, gentle touch. ❤️🐾

Sweet Vance has been through so much with his IMPA and calcinosis cutis. ❤️ This big guy deserves a little extra TLC. A nice massage, some gentle joint rubs, and time to just relax and enjoy being Vance. 🐾❤️

Vance has come so far in his training, but his health journey put a lot of things on hold. After being diagnosed with IMPA, he was treated with prednisone, which unfortunately led to calcinosis cutis and some pretty significant skin issues.

Now that he’s feeling so much better and his prednisone is almost completely tapered, we’re getting back to the basics and rebuilding those foundations. And Mr. Vance has definitely gotten a little pushy along the way. 😂 At 140 pounds, listening isn’t optional!

We’re bringing back recall, engagement, boundaries and structure, while incorporating structured play to keep things fun and productive. We’re meeting Vance where he is today and building from there.

It feels so good to see this big guy feeling better and ready to get back to work. ❤️🐾

Great session with Winston and his parents today! 🐾 Bennie joined in since he’s staying with them, and after a few little incidents between the boys, we worked on helping everyone find their groove.

We started with a walk together, worked on Winston’s heel since he tends to pull, then headed inside for place work, manners and spatial awareness. We practiced taking turns getting attention—no pushing in when it’s the other dog’s turn—and walking each dog through the house separately.

Both boys did great! ❤️ And the best part? Their parents sent me this photo later and said they’re doing AMAZING together. 👏

Tried a little sniff-and-find with the cones today, and Luna absolutely loved it! 🐾

She even started picking up the cones to get to the treats. Every dog approaches the game differently—some will simply alert to the scent, while others will figure out how to retrieve the reward.

It’s always so much fun watching them problem-solve and build confidence. ❤️
