One of Pampered Paws own furbabies could use some
prayers if you have a moment.
I know everyone knows Lil Bit who came to us after she was found in the rain fighting for her life.
Well our lil mascot is fighting once again. Our strong willed lil girl had a stroke yesterday and is hanging in there but her poor lil body seems to be fighting against her will to stay.
We will fight for her just as she fights.
Please pray for our girl. She has won so many hearts around here and deserves all we can give her.

This is one of the most difficult posts I’ve had to make. I got a call this morning that broke my heart.
Our sweet boy Big Max crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge Friday.
I have known Max and had the privilege of caring for him for the last 14 years. I first met Max when I worked at Spoiled Pets and have had the honor of continuing to care for him here at Pampered Paws.
There are so many things to say about Max. This boy had a personality all his own for sure. When he was younger if he didn’t want to be secured in an area he wouldn’t be. This boy has ripped kennel doors apart, chewed up door frames and even chewed up the whole bottom of a door. Quickly it was learned to just give Max his blankets and let him roam. Even with his shenanigans you couldn’t be mad cause he’d just look at you and smile. In his senior years he needed some special accommodations that were gladly met even his big blue rug that was just for him and he even had a tv in his room. Max loved his night time walks, his massage when getting his bath and loved to roll in the grass and snow. Max has a very special place in my heart I will miss him dearly.
Fly high my sweet Max🌈🐾🌺your paw prints are forever on my heart big boy.
Thank you Mr Doug and Ms Julie for allowing me to care for and love your boy thru the years. I love you both and my prayers and hugs are with you.

Today this lady groomers heart sunk into her stomach. I saw one of my very special clients pull into the driveway and I immediately thought that I had written a date wrong as today was May 1st and I had June 1st written for our sweet Gus to come stay for a week. When his dad opened the passenger door and turned towards me, he had an arm load of dog food and treats and no Gus. I walked passed the door with my heart knowing but hoping not.
Gus’ dad walked thru my salon door with that look in his eyes.
My date was not written incorrectly,
Gus’ dad didn’t call, he didn’t text, he came to see me personally and donate the remainder of Gusy mans food to our littles and let me know personally that our precious Gus had crossed the rainbow bridge this past Saturday. Gus would have turned 16 yrs old in 2 weeks. Mr Gus was such a special boy and spent a lot of time in the salon when his dad went on adventures. Gus and Lil Bit have become great friends over the last year and a half. Gus will never be forgotten and will be loved always. Gus your paw prints are forever on my heart sweet boy. Mr Joe my prayers are with you and if you ever need anything please call. Fly high with your angel 🪽 wings sweet Gus.🌈🌈🐾❤️❤️🌈❤️🐾

Come August this precious baby we call Lil Bit will be here 2 years. She is just as spunky as ever and doing well, she’s just slowing down a bit.
Boy is she fired up mad at me today. She got a bath and her hair cut (at least what she would tolerate). Love this baby girl beyond all.
