Boy oh Boy what a day, I got a good laugh when I went to the bathing room to see this.. Yea it’s Mr Winston’s Deshed day which is always an adventure but my ladies truly take their job seriously.

Got an emergency call this evening from a very valued client regarding a furbaby that has been displaced or lost, has been scanned for a microchip and no chip recorded. currently safe at my salon and quarantined. Will have immunizations and worming in the morning . If you recognize this baby please reach out to Papmpered Paws via FB messenger or at 6609242187. This baby will have a 5 way vaccination, kennel cough vaccination and worming tomorrow morning.. this baby will be on a 10 day hold before anyone can adopt if not claimed with proof of ownership beforehand.. as of now this precious baby is safe , has a full belly, warm bed and is being loved. This sweetheart will be groomed tomorrow as is in need of grooming

Ok no rest for the weary.. had a volunteer plan set in motion since earlier this week that I’m so happy I was able to attend. Last Sunday one of my valued clients and friend was victim of an electrical fire due to downed tree limbs on power lines. Due to no electricity for the time being and repairs to be made as well as clean up her precious furbabies have been safely at my salon and will be until it’s safe for them to go home. I requested the help of my husband owner of C & C Processing and a good friend Kyle Thompson owner of Thompson Tree Care. Both of these amazing men donated their time and equipment and we cleared all the tree debris and a bit extra just help Ms Debbie. Ms Debbie would give anything to help anyone so this I thought would be a great way to give back to her. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Kyle and Lendy. You two men are appreciated so very much.
Oh and by the way I didn’t do much as I wasn’t allowed to, I was told to stand back and supervise 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. I know Lendy and Kyle would have gotten it done with or without me..

Good morning my fine folks and furbabies. Happy Saturday to everyone.
I need to address an issue from yesterday as I have had a lot of calls and messages since several folks seen as they drove by and my clients were at the salon when the ambulance and first responders were at the salon. First and most important everyone is safe and all is well.
I had a sudden onset MS relapse yesterday resulting in what is called an MS hug. This is something that affected my speech and ability to properly function. What happened yesterday mimics the symptoms of a stroke. I know it sounds strange but the MS Hug is a very real thing. So we had a bit of a scare yesterday afternoon. However with the proper meds and a round of IV steroids I was able to come home lastnight and I’m feeling much better this morning. I will be on a 3 week round of steroids at home.
I am so very thankful for my team of ladies at the salon. Ms Kathy called my husband, Miss Danielle finished our last groom, both of these ladies finished all th work for the day and stayed late to take care of all the dogs. All the animals were cared for so beautifully and my clients were awesomely understanding. Kathy and Danielle stayed by my side until my husband and EMS arrived and Danielle and her tiny self caught me and lowered me to the floor as I got dizzy and began to fall. I love you ladies so dearly and grateful beyond words that I have you both not only as my work team but as my friends and family as well.
I felt the need to explain so everyone know that we are all safe and the Drs say I’m ok to work. This is just something I have to deal with with and have for over 20 years having MS.
I definitely would like to thank all the first responders for everything yesterday, I can’t remember all the names but they were able to keep me calm and get me to the hospital safely. The paramedics Glenn and Tori sure went above and beyond to ensure I did not stress and kept me comfortable. I wished I remembered every name but if they see this I want them all to know I’m very grateful for the compassion and care they provide.
Last but definitely not least thank you to my loving husband. I don’t think I want to know how he got to me from the job site so fast, but he did and was by my side every minute no matter how tired and stressed he was. Lendy I love you so much.
