By appointment only. Quinci was very lucky to find her passion for grooming at a young age. Since she was a little girl she has always had a passion for all pets. Quinci worked for Petco prior to opening The Dog Spot. She worked in the grooming salon for 5 years and managed two of their locations here in utah. Quinci has been a certified professional pet stylist since 2007. In her time with Petco she has learned several great skills to get her where she is today. She is certified in pet first aid, CPR and animal behaviors. Quinci has a true passion for grooming and loves spending her day with cute pups. Her goal is to make you and your pet have a great grooming experience. She is always learning more and keeping up on the new trends in the grooming industry. Quinci is outgoing and loves meeting new people and getting to know them and their pups.

Saying goodbye isn’t my favorite thing. So I said see you later to these two cuties and their darling mom. I’ve had the privilege to groom these dogs for quite a while now. They came every 3 to 4 weeks and now they are moving with their mom. I’m a little heartbroken I won’t get to see them and their mom. However, I’m so excited for their next journey and to see the exciting things that come their way.

If you know me, I love chatting and connecting. Getting to have conversations with my clients and be a part of their lives is one of the coolest parts of this job. Wishing them all the best in their next chapter.

Meet the sweetest old lady Pickles ✨

Pickles is the smallest thing and just so dang cute! I love when this cutie comes for grooming. She always has a way of brightening my day. She is just too dang cute and looks more like a puppy to me.

It’s the ears for me! ✨

I am completely an absolutely a sucker for crazy and fun ears on dogs! It is truly one of my favorite features and I love how animated it can make them.

This sweetie has the best ears and I am totally obsessed! Is there a certain feature on your dog that is your favorite that stands out?

My crew ✨

It’s hard to believe that 14 years ago today The Dog Spot was officially open! There were a lot of things that led to us opening all those years ago, but the main reason is that Sweet girl you see in this photo with me.

And here we are 14 years later being self-employed. 19 years in the Pet Grooming industry. And in those 19 years, I’ve done a lot. Worked for corporate, worked for private salons, opened my own business, 2 in my former homes and now my private studio, worked for a tradeshow company in the Pet Grooming world, became a founding member of the Utah professional Groomers Association in 2019, which I am still serving on to this day! As well as doing social media management for Pet Grooming brands and even owning an operating my own Grooming tradeshow here in Utah.

What a wild journey it’s been and I’m still going. I’m thankful to be back to my roots of Grooming because that is where my true passion calls as well as serving others in my Grooming community. Happy 14 years of being my own boss and creating a life with these cuties.

boy or boy was I so excited to see this cutie again! He is an absolute sweetheart, which doesn’t surprise me because his humans are some of the best people I know. It was such a pleasure grooming this sweet boy again and I cannot wait to see him next time.

Mr Finn ✨

it was so good to have this cutie back on my table! Finn used to rock a man bun if you remember seeing him in the past. But now he’s upgraded to around teddy bear face and he is as cute as ever!

Not only was a great to see him. It was so great to see his mom who has known me since elementary. I don’t only love connecting with the dogs on my table, but with the humans that bring them to as many of my clients can tell you I love checking in with them seeing how life is and just genuinely having natural conversation with everyone. I am blessed to have the coolest clients. And let’s be honest I can talk a lot so it’s nice that they like to talk to me too lol. 😝

Good morning! ✨

With 19 years in the Grooming industry I’ve been in a lot of salons and I know what I love and don’t love. For me creating a calm and intentional space for the pets I get to groom was absolutely key. But also making a space where I feel calm and collected also matters. I believe the energy that I give off, creates the experience your pup will have while in the salon.

This space has been nothing short of calm and peaceful for me. Stepping in here for work truly is a favorite of mine and I’m so blessed to share it with your furry friends. It’s been nice to see how common relaxed all the dogs have been and how many of them love relaxing on the couch when their sibling is being worked on. This was the goal. I’d say I nailed it. ☺️

Happy Friday ✨

As many of you know, I tend to book out for the entire year and I love so much that all my clients book for the solid year. Now that I’m back, I have just a few spots left for 2 to 3 new clients. Recently l just put a post out sharing our availability. If you know anyone looking for a one-on-one Grooming experience for a small pup, please send them our way. Word of mouth has always been our biggest support.
