Meet Rooster, litter mate of Mable. He's figuring things out!! Showing a good nose and lots of bird savvy!!

Another R.K. pup hits the Dakotas. Nothing but complements on this little gal from her owner. Soon to be one year old! A true dual purpose dog, family pet and one that excels in the field as well.

Mable working in the field. She's got a great nose, just gonna take some time for her to learn how better to use it. It does take a bit of time and work for it to all come together. I worked her two days ago on some quail. The point was good. The birds we shot were retrieved to hand and she had no problems with the gunfire. At six months of age I am satisfied with her progress.

Ringo gets his turn for a little pheasant work. Scott said that Ringo got with the program right from the start. Sure looks like everyone had fun!!

Rosie and Ringo getting the opportunity to work on a few pheasants. My good friend Scott is giving them the opportunity to work on pheasants. I only hope my dogs don't have too much fun. They may forget about me!!

These photos put a big smile on my face. The dog in the picture was a puppy the family bought from me. The boys were much smaller then. They and the pup are growing up and enjoying the great outdoors! I'm sure the fella taking the pictures (their father) is enjoying this moment in time too. Lots of memories for lots of people.

An afternoon with Rocky. Getting ready for some serious bird action! Rocky seems more than ready. Gonna be a fun fall/winter!

This is Moose, Mables twin brother. He's here to get started on the basics of hunting. He's doing exceptionally well on most all aspects of his training. He's showing a great natural point and retrieve. He learned to swim also. He is ready to hit the field and show his owner what it's all about. However, Moose also has three little girls 8, 6 & 4 years of age who really miss him. So dad will surely have to share Moose with the girls!! Moose doesn't know how lucky he is!!

Been awhile since you last saw Mable. I had a hiccup in her training. Seems that the neighbors fireworks messed with her head a bit. Made her noise sensitive. I didn't realize it till mid August. So, I had to work through this. She is now back on track with her training. We are now shooting birds over her with no issues. Matter of fact, birds are really helping with this issue. She's back to her bubbly self. Her prey drive has also picked up immensely. Hope to have some better photos and videos soon.

Mables big brother (Moose) gets in on the action as well. His first bird, He shows a very natural staunch point. I'm sure his owner will have some fun times this fall.
