🦄 Our first week was fantastic, it was great to be back at Lamplight! Our team was small but mighty, the horses and riders came and rode their hearts out and came home with a few ribbons along the way!

⭐️ Juliana and her team had a great outing playing in both the hunters and jumpers! Her horse Carlo finished Champion in the .80s and continues to be an amazing partner for Juliana being this was their first time in the jumpers together. Juliana’s pony, Hudson had a lot of fun at Lamplight taking many great ribbons home. Hudson’s highlights include strutting his stuff to a 1st under saddle and finished 4th in the Children’s Pony Hunter Classic! 🦄

🏆 Marlow and her pony, Bellefour’s Steel Fox finished Reserve Champion in the Children’s Hunter Pony! This newer pair took top placings in many classes including a 1st in the Children’s Pony Hunter Classic!

🎉 Hiring Weekend Barn Staff & Multiple Evening Feed Shifts! 🎉 Part-Time shifts

✨ We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Cedar Creek Equestrian in Cedarburg, WI! This job is PHYSICAL, year round (our barn is heated) and requires a team player!

🐴 Duties Include🐴
•Cleaning Stalls
•Handle turn out of our horses
•Feed and water horses & farm animals (we have pigs too!)
•General cleaning of tack room/aisles/barn
•Assisting with Vet and Farrier as needed
•You may be asked to do additional jobs such as stack hay and shavings after deliveries, pack the trailer for horse shows, and assist in other horse care ways as needed.

💰Pay based on experience – higher wages for those with Stablehand or general maintenance experience.

✨⭐️✨ Ella deserves her very own post and a huge applause! She’s been working hard in lessons to confidently combine jumps into short courses. Hard works pays off, the confidence was shining today. Like a good horsewoman, Ella gave her lesson horse, T, a well-deserved bath so T could get her summer cut! Congrats Ella (and T) on such a fun and rewarding lesson! SAILOR MOON - 11 yr old, 16h mare. Sailor is a 3 ring horse that never needs to see the jumps. Alsways jumps a 10 and never takes a bad picture. Bonus - she’s sweet on the ground and loves attention. Available for trial in Mason City through 6/15. USEF 5616666

🌟 So many exciting things on this awesome lesson day! It was hot and sunny first, we did courses, we went for a trial ride, then we rode in the rain, we did indoor poles and no stirrup work today - we did a little of everything!! 🦌 We even had a ringside visitor today!! See the last pic!! 😍

🥳Congrats to Ben who cantered for the first time and rode like a champ! T showed Ben the way and those two took a few laps around the ring like old pros! I foresee lots of fun stuff this summer!!!🦄

🏆 It was a very successful week 2 at the Stonegate Spring Classic series! All the horses and riders were excellent coming back for a second week, many taking Champion and Reserve Champion.

🐎 Great riding all around, can’t wait to come back to this awesome venue for the Stonegate Series horse shows!

🌟Coeur Vole (Maisie) & Erica Day - Champion in the Opportubity 1’6” division!

👑 Congrats to Margaret on a very successful two weeks at the Stonegate Spring Classic in Cannon Falls, MN. Margaret joined our barn full time just two years ago after graduating from UW-Milwaukee where she was on the equestrian team as a newer, walk-trot rider.

👉🏼 Fast forward two years later, Margaret is showing successfully in the Jumpers with her horse, Gwen and even debuted riding Sailor Moon these past two weeks in the 3’ Hunter Derby. 🤩

♥️ To say we are proud would be an understatement! Margaret also works for Cedar Creek Equestrian and is the best groom to all our horses and riders. We are proud and THANKFUL! 🫶🏼
