Honestly, every cat owner should be aware of this.
What is usually the culprit?

➡️ STRESS
* Environmental Changes: Moving home, rearranging furniture, or home renovations.

* Household Disruptions: New pets, new people, a new baby, or loud noises.

* Routine Changes: Changes in feeding times or owner working hours.

* Resource Competition: Too few litter boxes, water bowls, or hiding spots, particularly in multi-cat households.

* Litter Box Issues: Dirty, hard-to-reach, or scented litter boxes.

* Outside Stress: Stray cats or wildlife seen through windows.

As an owner, be aware of your cat’s litter box habits. If you see any of the following, make a vet appointment ASAP.

🐾 straining to urinate
🐾 very little urine being produced
🐾 any vocalizations while urinating
🐾 excessive grooming of the ge***al area

I’ve been a Veterinary Technician for 11 years, and caring for animals has truly been my passion for as long as I can remember. Over the years I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of pets and their families, and I’ve learned that sometimes the little services make the biggest difference in a pet’s comfort and health.

⁣Easter is almost here, and we want to remind you of one way to keep your cats and kittens safe while you celebrate: ensure you keep lilies out of your home. They contain a dangerous toxin that is unsafe in any amount, so go faux or select a bouquet made from other flowers instead.

While brushing your dog’s teeth is the gold standard, dental chews can help reduce plaque and tartar build-up.
But not all chews are the same!
Some products that are advertised and sold as ‘good for your dog’s teeth’ can actually lead to a tooth being broken.
Once a tooth is broken, it needs to be removed and dental surgery gets expensive quickly.

Luna was living her best life on this morning’s walk.
We didn’t go far, but a walk is about more than physical exercise. It allows a dog to use their brain which is a great way to burn excess energy.
We spent a lot of time watching people shovel and enjoyed a short play in the snow.
