Just to clear up some confusion — this is NOT the same mama. The other mama miscarried her puppies two weeks early, which is why I never publicly announced or posted about that litter.

Della’s litter is completely separate, and thankfully mama and puppies are doing well. At this time, these puppies are not available while we focus on their health, development, and making sure everyone continues thriving.

One of the hardest parts of breeding that people don’t talk about enough is the heartbreak.

Today we lost an entire litter of six puppies. No matter how much experience, love, preparation, sleepless nights, vet care, or money you pour into this, sometimes things still go wrong. Breeding isn’t just cute puppies and happy gotcha days — it can also mean emergency vet visits, loss, grief, guilt, and questioning everything you did.
The emotional side of this is devastating. These babies were wanted, loved, and fought for from the very beginning. Losing them hurts more than words can explain.
Thankfully, mama is okay and recovering now, and for that we are incredibly grateful. 🖤

Also a huge thank you to the veterinary staff at Glasgow Animal Clinic for taking such good care of our girl during an incredibly difficult day. We are so thankful for their compassion, quick action, and care.

⭐️ For anyone wondering, this is not the litter we just announced.

🐾 Puppy Pickup Policy & Payment Info Moving Forward 🐾

To help make the transition smooth and stress free for both our puppies and their new families, please read the following:

Deposit
A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. I will not hold a puppy without a deposit. This deposit will go toward the total purchase price and is non refundable under any circumstances. Puppy is pet only–no breeding rights will be given.

Picking up puppy
To make things easier and safer for everyone, I will only be meeting people at the airports:
Nashville, TN (BNA)
Louisville, KY (SDF) for flights only

For all other puppy pick-ups, you will need to either:
Come to Cave City, Ky or Glasgow, Ky or Use a transportation service to bring your puppy to you.

Pickup Date
Each puppy will be assigned a specific pickup date. Please be sure you are able to pick up on that day, as we do not offer flexibility without prior approval.

Late Pickup Fee
If a puppy is not picked up on the scheduled date, a $20/day boarding fee will apply.

Transported Puppies
If your puppy is leaving with a transporter, the remaining balance must be paid in full at least 72 hours prior to departure. Puppies will not be released to transport until payment has been received. Please note that transport arrangements are solely between you and the transporter. Because this is a third-party service, I am not responsible for anything that occurs during transport as stated in my contract.

Abandonment Policy
If a puppy is not picked up within 3 days of the scheduled pickup date and no prior arrangements have been approved, the puppy will be considered abandoned. All payments made will be forfeited, and the puppy may be made available to another family.

Scheduling Responsibility
Please plan accordingly. We do not hold puppies for vacations, travel delays, or scheduling conflicts. No exceptions.

Puppies can be smooth or longhair, and we are expecting:
• Black & Tan
• Black & Tan Dapple
• Chocolate & Tan
• Chocolate & Tan Dapple

Puppies will be on hold for the first 2 weeks until we can determine coat length.
