She is the sweetest girl she has been outside but I am sure could be potty trained if you have time easier than a puppy. This will only be if I find a great place for her if not she will stay here with us.

Forgot to post another update on Matilda Jane awhile back that went into labor with trouble sadly she didnā€™t make it. 2 days before she went to get stiches removed she was perfectly fine up happy back to her normal self her belly busted open where she had surgery in the middle of the night and she bled to death.šŸ˜¢ We was all heart broken. If you have wrote me about puppies with no reply this is why I am just sick over this I am not sure when or if we will have a litter of basset hounds but I am keeping this page open just in case we decide to in the future. Thank you to everyone who checked in on her back in April this is a very delayed post.

They induced Matilda when we got to the vet she had one more puppy she didnā€™t have she couldnā€™t pass it so he had to do surgery and spay her they called me and told me sheā€™s doing good but they are keeping her tonight. Just glad sheā€™s ok.

Everyone remember this sweet girl Matilda Jane she went into labor yesterday had a good sized puppy around 4 PM then nothing else sheā€™s just a big framed dog I couldnā€™t feel anymore I thought maybe sheā€™s done we even got her a shot of oxytocin for good measure and nothing happened so we all went to bed my mom woke me up at 3 am she had a huge puppy and lost a lot of blood I think it was born dead so thatā€™s where we are I am staying awake till we can get a vet open at 8 am and watching her closely just hope she pulls through.šŸ˜¢ never had this happen in fact her first litter she had 8 no problem. Makes me never want to have another litter just sick over it. Not the outcome we wanted at all.
