It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Louie, our beloved clinic cat.
We were incredibly fortunate to care for and love Louie during the last chapter of his life, after he had already lived a long and full life before finding his way to us. He greeted countless clients, supervised the front desk, comforted nervous visitors, knocked over the garbage can in search of pizza crusts, and showed remarkable patience with Mitts when the situation called for it. 😉
To everyone who stopped to pet him, talked to him, or smiled when they saw him curled up around the clinic- thank you for loving him with us.
We'll miss you, Louie, more than words can say.

As Allie begins a new opportunity, we'd like to take a moment to thank her for her time at Gilbertson Veterinary Clinic.
During her time with us, Allie was part of many patient visits, procedures, and the day-to-day work that comes with building a new practice. We appreciate the time she spent with our team and the care she provided to our patients.
We wish her all the best as she begins her next chapter and hope it brings her every success.

🎆🐾 A big thank you to Lori's Fireworks for supporting the Angel Fund!
We're incredibly grateful for this generous donation, which will help us provide assistance to local pets and families when unexpected veterinary expenses arise.
As a small-town clinic, we're fortunate to be surrounded by people and businesses that believe in giving back to the community. We're especially proud that one of those businesses happens to be owned by our own Practice Manager, Lori!

Today was Megan’s last day at Gilbertson Veterinary Clinic.

Megan has been with us since the beginning and has been an important part of our story. As one of the first members of our team, she helped shape the kind of clinic we hoped to build- one where people and their pets are met with kindness and compassion.

Her positivity, calm presence, and genuine care for others have made a lasting impact on our clients, our patients, and all of us who have had the privilege of working with her.

We’re incredibly grateful for everything she’s given to our clinic, and while we’ll miss seeing her, we’re excited for all that’s ahead for her.

Thank you, Megan, for being such an important part of our beginning. We wish you nothing but the very best in your next chapter. ❤️

🎆 Fireworks season is here! 🎆

While Lori is away running her seasonal business this week, our amazing team is still here and ready to take great care of you and your pets. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through a busy week with one less set of hands around the clinic! ❤️🐾

If your pets get anxious during fireworks, don’t wait until the last minute.

🐶 Current patients: If your pet has been seen at Gilbertson Vet Clinic and has previously discussed anxiety or may benefit from medication, give us a call. We’ll be happy to see what options are appropriate.

📅 New patients: If your pet hasn’t been seen at Gilbertson Vet Clinic yet, please call to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. We need to examine your pet before we can prescribe medication, and appointments fill quickly!

📞 Please remember that we will be CLOSED on Friday, July 3, so if your pet may need medication, reach out before then.
