A Summer Long Celebration! Cat'n Around Catskill is a Summer long art event that culminates with the Cat's Meow Auction & Gala in September.

Activities include the public display of the Cats in the Village of Catskill and Leeds, Cat Raffle, and the grand finale: The Cats Meow Gala & Auction on Sunday, September 17th, 2023 at the Historic Catskill Point. Contact the Heart of Catskill Assoc. for additional information 518-943-0989.

Each Summer we have one Cat which is designated as the years raffle Cat. When we get to the auction at the end of the season on September 21st one lucky individual goes home with one of our wonderful Cats. This year we have a Cat which was done by Christie Hicks and Karen Robinson. "Clawed Monet" is Cat #13 which is located at 432 Main St. in front of it's sponsor, the Greene County Chamber of Commerce . On April 18, 1775 Paul Revere made his famous midnight ride to alert the Minutemen of the approach of British troops. "PAWS Revere," Cat #6 rides again in front of his sponsor Sullivan-Teator Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 770 at 539 Main St. "Paws Revere" was crafted by artist Stephen S. Martin

The Heart of Catskill Association and the Cairo Development Foundation work together with an exchange program between Cat'n Around Catskill and The Cairo Bears. Here we have Cairo's "Greta the Grape Stomper," and "Susan," Cat #69. Greta is located at 471 Main St. Catskill. This is the work of Theresa Rowe-Obert and sponsored by Vicky Perzanowski. And "Susan" also done by Theresa Rowe-Obert. She is located in front of the Cairo office building at 512 Main St, Cairo.
