Now Hiring | Join the Taylor’d K9 Training Team

Taylor’d K9 Training is currently looking to expand our team and is hiring for the following positions:

🐾Dog Handler (25–30 hours/week)
Starting at NYS minimum wage
Must be 18 years or older
Evening availability required
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs (this is a physically demanding role)
Dog handling experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
Strong work ethic, reliability, and comfort working hands-on with dogs are a must
Potential for growth into a more advanced training role over time

🐾Certified Groomer
Grooming space available
Join an established, reputable facility with an existing client base
Ideal for a groomer looking for independence within a supportive team environment

As we wrap up 2025, we can’t help but look back with so much gratitude for everything this year brought to Taylor’d K9 Training.

We kicked things off with our Grand Opening in April—an incredible milestone that welcomed us into the Coxsackie community in a big way. Since then, we’ve had over 30 new day-train friends join our pack, countless private lesson clients making amazing progress, and a full calendar of board-and-trains each month.

We were fortunate to host guest trainer group classes with Bonnie and Abbie, strengthen relationships with returning clients, meet so many new faces, and open our doors to a number of dog and kitty fosters who needed a safe landing. Watching this community show up for these animals and for our small business has been nothing short of amazing.

We’ve had an absolute blast growing Taylor’d K9 Training this year, and we’re so excited for everything 2026 has in store. Thank you for your trust, your support, and for being part of this journey with us.

Class Overview
This group class is designed to strengthen the dog-handler relationship while building confidence and improving obedience.
Each session includes:
• Confidence-building exercises
• Handler and canine relationship development
• Obedience training foundations
Two instructors teach this class, allowing for more individualized coaching and the ability to cover more material effectively.

Saturday Puppy Group Class

Note: This class is designed for dog reactivity, not dog aggression.

We’re super sad to say we will NOT be open tomorrow. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory with freezing rain and ice accumulation, and with our typical 7am opening, the roads just won’t be safe for staff to travel in.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding — we’ll reopen as normal on Tuesday.

Merry Christmas! 🎄❤️🐾
Our two Christmas foster girls, Ava and Lainey, have been hard at work learning what real house life feels like. We’ve been focusing on potty training, decompression, and how to simply be a dog.
Lainey, the younger one, has really started to blossom—she’s opening up, learning how to walk on a leash, discovering how to settle inside, and figuring out what toys even are.
Ava, being a bit older, is taking her time. She had her very first bath today, which she rated a strong –1000, but she’s beginning to trust us more and we know she’ll find her stride just like Lainey.
Both girls are still pretty nervous, and everyday things like the TV, toilets flushing, and normal household noises are all brand-new and a little scary. But today they got to celebrate the holiday warm, safe, fed, loved, and absolutely demolishing their Christmas bully sticks and duck feet.
Wishing everyone a magical Christmas from our home to yours. ❤️🎄🐾
