When you’re almost 10 weeks old and a puppy ROCKSTAR ⭐️

Kora is sleeping through the night, staying accident-free during free time in the house, catching on quickly in her obedience sessions, and most importantly, being raised to be confident.

Our dogs are helping show her the ropes and being great guides through puppyhood.

And check out how she can already settle down and relax with a toy or bone.

I've always said that raising a puppy can feel a lot like Disney World when you're intentional about it. By focusing on confidence, engagement, structure, and teaching them how to live in your world, you create a dog that fits into your lifestyle with ease.

Kora also came from a good breeder and its shows daily.

Coxsackie, BIG things are happening over the next few weeks at Taylor’d K9 Training! 🐾

Bear with us while we give our storefront a little makeover to bring you guys soooo much more. Things are starting to arrive, shelves are shifting around, and we're working hard behind the scenes to create something really exciting for both pet dog and working dog owners.

We've got new products coming in, some awesome additions we're really excited about, and a few surprises we can't share just yet. 👀

Day Trains main focus today was threshold work. We practiced waiting to go through gates, crate doors, and both exits of the building. It’s really important to have a dog that doesn’t bolt out doors, gates, or crates. They also worked on treadmill sessions, tunnel games, and play group.

Obedience class was busy with engagement exercises, recall work, place, and leash work.

Board and Train Teddy worked with groomer Lauren today getting more confidence on the table, a nail trim, and brush out. We’re working through any anxiety around the tub, dryer, table, and grooming process each day to build up to a full groom at the end of the month. We’re showing him it can be a really positive experience in small amounts building it each time to make a more confident and clean Teddi!

Teddi worked on leash walking around group class and new dogs, place work, and sit + down stays. He’s a really sweet guy, but being a social butterfly makes us work that much harder on his handler engagement.

Kora had her first vet visit while with us. She was a champ! It’s really important to make these visits positive for young puppies to ensure that the vet isn’t a big deal as they age.

Day trains diligently worked around lots of distractions today, treadmill sessions, and it was a really nice playgroup🐾
