Equine Affaire prep is underway! 🐴✂️

Doc got a fresh clip, and we're officially getting ready for next week!

A little gymnastics work with Doc! 🐴

Four verticals, each set on a two-stride distance, with progressively shorter placing-pole distances of 9, 8, 7, and 6 feet.

The goal is to encourage the horse to stay balanced, attentive, and adjustable throughout the exercise rather than rushing or getting longer as the jumps progress.

It's also a great exercise for the rider to focus on maintaining a quiet, balanced position and staying out of the horse's way so they can do their job!

Two perspectives — from the ground and through my eyes! 🎥
