We’re offically opening up our sign-ups for our fall CSA! 11 weeks of certified naturally grown produce that’s never been sprayed with any chemical, organic or synthetic! Today has been one of the hardest days. I lost my baby girl, my best friend, my lady. Frankie’s health really started to decline about 2 months ago and the last couple weeks had been really tough on the both of us. This morning she peacefully passed in her loving home with me beside her. I had Frankie since she was 6 weeks old and she was 14.5 years old as of today. She was the first living thing that was mine, and she taught me a lot about being more of an adult. She was the first thing other than my mother I ever unconditionally loved. She was a sweet girl who loved to run around the farm and greet everyone who showed up. She had been with me at work just about every day for the past 10 years, and I’m so grateful we got to spend so much time together. She was my whole heart and the most consistent thing in my life for the past 14-15 years. I’m really sad and I’m really going to miss her.

Everyone’s been patiently waiting for our next batch of sauerkraut and I’m happy to announce it’s finally available for purchase! This batch is made with 100% Wilmington local ingredients! All the cabbage is from in Burgaw and all the sea salt is from who make salt straight from the ocean water at Wrightsville beach! Join us this Saturday for a volunteer day on the farm…help us get our onions out of the field and stored for curing!!! We need your help getting the last of our onions and garlic pulled and this Saturday is your chance to lend a hand. We’ll meet at the barn at 10am and work for a few hours in the field, great opportunity to get a little dirty and enjoy some community time. Hope you can make it! 🌱✌🏼🙏🏼
