Sunday I broke one foot and sprained the opposite ankle. I’ve felt overwhelmed at times with all the responsibilities of farm chores, cooking etc just the normal daily tasks are 10x harder. It’s given me an opportunity though to be more grateful for all the little things that can be taken for granted. Yesterday we still made it to horse lessons and then Grady happily helped mom do animal feedings. His kindness warms my heart in even the most difficult and challenging situations. I can’t imagine how amazing our world would be if everyone were more like Gman ❤️🥰

The farm has a fruit orchard and today I picked some fresh pears and thought making a homemade caramel dipping sauce would be yummy. However what I discovered is dipping last years dehydrated apples in the caramel sauce is my new favorite treat! Thinking I’ll start a farm to table soon 😉🤪
