KLS Equine Rescue is housed at A & A Stables (formerly Kandi-Land Stables) in Castalia, Ohio. We are dedicated to providing abused, neglected and abandoned horses with care and rehabilitation so that they may return to health and productivity. We are a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization registered with the Ohio attorney General's office. 100% of all contributions, donations and profits from fundr

aisers is used to met the costs associated with caring for our rescues. All labor for their care is from volunteers: we have no paid employees. Since 2010 we have taken in over 50 horses mules and donkeys, all of whom have been transformed into lesson horses, pleasure and trail horses, or companion animals. Tours are available by appointment.
