Orlando and Ronan had a layover here during their move to Colorado. They had to get their land legs back after a long trailer ride while stocking up on some yummy vittles since they refused to eat in the trailer. Rodeo season! Hopefully our customer won big tonight at the Fair Rodeo! Her troop of horses rested up for their run for the last 3 days here enjoying the peace and quiet after their last showing. More Reno, NV champions staying overnight with us on their celebratory journey home! This winning crew had lots to be proud of, including potty training the new puppy, Gypsy! 🤣 Joleen, the palomino, won Reserve Champion in the Novice Reining Division. Jovi, the chestnut, won 6th in 3yr old futurity. Manny, the stud, didn’t feel like changing his leads during his classes, so even though he was a bit naughty and didn’t place, his beauty and kindness makes up for it! 🥰 We appreciate the trust you and your horses put in us to give you a safe and relaxing stay on your show schedule. Congrats and good luck at the next show!

Snoop Dog and 21 were here overnight on their return trip from Reno back to Calgary. We think they brought the hot desert temps with them since it was really hot in the upper 90s! ☀️We Montanans melt if temps get above 70! 😂 We appreciate you sharing your beautiful steeds with us! Drum roll, please! We had visitors all the way from New Hampshire- our first from the state! This family is moving to Alaska and we know how huge Alaska is, so these horses, Alfred and Norman, will fit in perfectly in their new environment. These beauties win the award for being the tallest horses we have stabled (for reference, their owner is over 6’ tall). We also got to meet some of their cute dogs who were along for the travel adventures. Enjoy the journey north and much success at your new job! Thanks for staying at The Paard Yard!

Miss Prim was with us this past month awaiting the green light to enter Canada. While it's never fun for us to be separated from our horses, we were truly blessed to have Prim by our side. She is an incredibly sweet horse, overflowing with love and curiosity. She is also the most cooperative medicine taker ever! Kudos to Prim! We look forward to seeing you in the Fall!
