Most pet owners wait until something feels wrong.

But pets don’t show pain like we do.
Routine exams help you stay one step ahead.

Adopting a pet is exciting, but the first few weeks matter.

Here are a few extra tips:

-Feeding routine
Puppies under 6 months should eat 3 times a day.
After 6 months, most pets eat 2 times a day.
Avoid leaving food out all day, it can lose freshness and attract insects.

🐱 Litter box rule:
Have one litter box per cat, plus one extra.
(2 cats = 3 boxes.)
🐶 Potty training tip:
Start with a larger potty area and slowly reduce the space as your dog learns.

Most important of all, schedule a wellness exam early!

A vet visit helps catch health issues, update vaccines, and guide you through this new chapter.

“I don’t always show when something hurts.
I don’t complain.
I don’t want to worry you.
But sometimes I feel different.
More tired.
Less hungry.
A little slower.”

Pets are incredibly good at hiding discomfort.
By the time they show clear signs, the issue may already be advanced.

That’s why routine check-ups matter more than we think, not because something is wrong, but because we love them enough to check.

When was your pet’s last wellness exam? 🐾

Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is never easy...

Hospice and palliative care focus on comfort, pain relief, and quality of life during a pet’s final stage of life. The goal is not to extend suffering. It's to protect dignity and peace.

Every pet is different. Every family is different.

That’s why these decisions are personal, and you don’t have to make them alone.
If you’ve noticed changes in your pet or you’re unsure about what comes next, we’re here to guide you with compassion and honesty.

You are not alone in this.
Call us if you need support or have questions. 🤍

How often your pet needs a check-up depends on their age and overall health.

Young pets (first 4 months):
They should see the vet on a monthly basis. This helps track their growth and keeps vaccines and deworming up to date.

Adult pets:
They should have a check-up at least once a year. Even healthy pets need regular exams and updated vaccines.

Senior pets (7+ years old):
They should see the vet every 6 months. Health problems can develop faster at this age. In some cases, the vet may recommend visits every 4 months.
