We have a few new friends at the lounge!
I’ll introduce you to all of them over the coming days, but for now, let’s start with Troy. 😺💙
(DOB 5/20/26)
Some stories begin with heartbreak... but we're determined to give them the happy ending they deserve.
Troy was abandoned at a TNR colony with another kitten, Dixie. The dedicated caregiver knew immediately they didn't belong there—every cat in the colony was already spayed or neutered, and these tiny kittens had clearly been left behind.
Thankfully, she scooped them up, kept them safe, and waited until Feline Friends had room to welcome them.
Now these two are leaving that scary chapter behind and focusing on what they do best: being irresistibly cute.
Troy is a handsome brown tabby with a playful streak and a heart of gold.
He is social, affectionate, and always up for a game with his favorite toys before settling into his kitty bed for a cozy cuddle session. He is wonderful with other cats and dogs, and he is looking for a home where he'll have plenty of love, companionship, and someone around to enjoy all his kitten antics.
While Troy and Dixie (still with rescue) can be adopted separately, we'd absolutely love to see these best buddies stay together. After everything they've been through, there's nothing sweeter than watching them nap side by side.
He is good with other cats and dogs, and would do best in a home with children over 5. Because he is still young, he would thrive being adopted into a home where someone is around often or where other pets can keep him company (or adopt the pair! They'd love to stay together).
