Unfortunately Sugar crossed over the rainbow bridge this morning unexpectedly leaving me as the new momma to a sweet little lamb 💔 Sugar was a wonderful mother and had the sweetest soul. Pun intended. She was the first lamb I purchased for our little farm and I will miss her. Her lamb is taking well to the bottle and seems to be getting more comfortable with me.

I was just in the process of combining all the name suggestions to pick one. Now that I’m going to be super attached to this little girl, I need a good one. Lmk if anyone has any late entries…

In the midst of a crazy busy weeknd, we welcomed two new lambs.
Pearl had a lightly spotted ram and a tiny black spot carrier ewe lamb who is about half his size ❤️

I guess Glitter decided after 24 hours that motherhood wasn’t for her so she tucked her calf in neatly by the dumpster for pickup 😉

In reality, cows will leave their babies to sleep somewhere for the day and come back for them to nurse so she just found a comfy spot out of the wind. Glitter is a great first time mother 🥰
