🐾 Weekly Rescue Highlight: Groot! 🐾

This handsome hunk is Groot, a 2-year-old Rottweiler with his AKC Certificate and a whole lot of love to give. Groot is a big softie who adores a good rub on his snout and face.

He thrives in a fenced-in yard where he can explore the world at his own pace. Groot's ideal day is sniffing around the yard, soaking up the sun, and going on long walks with his favorite humans.

That said, Groot does best with company. He may be destructive when he's left alone if not properly secured. A strong kennel is a must when you're away.

Groot isn’t a fan of feline roommates, so a cat-free home is best for him. But if you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves outdoor adventures and snuggle time in equal measure, Groot might just be your guy.

Especially if he knows you well. Just be warned: he can get a little ornery in the funniest ways when he trusts you.
