and Aloe Dog Training have partnered up and are now offering Pack Walks on Monday mornings. 🐾🐕
This is a great social opportunity for current & previously adopted Thrive Dogs, and for the wonderful people who make Thrive Animal Rescue a haven for so many.

✨About Thrive N Shine Pack Walks✨
Lead by Trainer: Wes Oberman, CPDT

📌Guided Adventure Walk: 1 hour, maximum 7 dogs per walks
📌Location: Various Nature Spots around Del Mar, Monday Mornings – varied times
📌Prerequisites: Must have completed private training with Aloe Dog Training and/or adopted from Thrive Animal Rescue.
🔷 Dogs must be 5 months+
🔷 Dogs must be comfortable within 5 feet from other people and dogs
*Prerequisites may be waived by the instructor.
📌What to bring: Pack with water & water bowl, sun-protection, closed toed shoes
📌Price: $25/walk, 10% gets donated directly to Thrive Animal Rescue

Ever curious why your dog yawns when she does not seem tired? Dogs can tell us about their feelings through body language. If your dog is licking their lips, even when not hungry or near food, this can also be a sign of stress!

A dog with a hanging tongue out of the side of their mouth can mean they are relaxed and content.

Learning how to read dog body language is a great way to understand what emotions they are feeling.

Some dogs always seem to get into mischief and have a never ending appetite. Snuffle Mats are a wonderful invention for those bored puppies who love digging into things. You can hide food like kibble or small pieces of dehydrated chicken, beef, or salmon for a delicious game! 🌿🐕
