Newville & Holly Pike Animal Hospitals operate as a privately owned, 2-location small animal veterinary hospital. We are a 4 doctor practice, soon to be 5. The current position would primarily be at our Holly Pike Animal Hospital location in Carlisle, PA.
All candidates must complete an acceptable background check and pre-employment drug screening. Position is Full-Time, 36+ hours per week and does involve some evening hours. Benefits include competitive hourly rate, health insurance, 401(k), vacation, uniform allowance and Continuing Education & Training.

Responsibilities would include (but not limited to):
• Applicants should be skilled/trained in all aspects of anesthesia and patient monitoring, catheter placement, venipuncture, digital radiology, animal restraint and client/patient education
• Manage appointments: obtain histories, digital medical record keeping, client education, patient discharges, etc.
• Client Communication
• Assist in patient procedures: preparation of patients, instruments, equipment and medications
• Inspire, teach, multitask and be a highly functional team member
• Collection and handling of laboratory samples
Qualifications:
• Prior veterinary experience preferred
• Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
