There’s a quiet kind of magic,
In the work before the big show.
In the miles and blisters in the saddle,
Teaching things a good young horse ought to know.
It’s not the applause or the lights,
Or the awards on the wall.
It’s the early mornings spent believing
When there’s no one there at all.
And in just a few short weeks,
Under the Will Rogers lights,
A thousand ordinary mornings
Will come down to just one ride.

We always love having Katie Gregory at the barn snapping photos of the action!
