The last two weekends have been a success!

👇🏼 This girl was on fire 🔥 Congratulations to Avery Genova and her horse Metallic MyWay for winning the Box Drive class and drawing a check every single time she went into the show pen!

🙌🏼 Brittany Curlee’s maiden show with Bet Hesa Cool Cat (Max) at the Southwest Quarter Horse Show winning the VRH Limited Ametuer All Around. Also drawing checks in the Box Drive and the Non Pro Boxing at the CRCA World Show Warm Up.

🤩 Bailey Rhea Smith was 2nd in the VRH Rookie Am All Around on Who’s Got Da Blues, winning the Ranch Riding (no surprise there!)

🎉 Darren won the VRH Open Ranch Cutting on Travelin Annie and the VRH Open Cow Work on That Vintage Look. She Bea Stevie had a successful weekend in the Open Derby.

🏅 Congratulations to Reese Gillespie for winning the L1 Non Pro Derby.

It was a fun couple of weeks, it was great to see Beau and his great horse Calvin back in the show pen again! It’s always rewarding to see one you’ve trained be successful in the show pen years later.

It’s been a productive and fun week around here! We have had family, friends and clients here from California, Nebraska, Colorado, New Mexico and of course a few Texans.

Congratulations to Madeline St. John on the purchase of Bet On Smooth Pepto (Tex). It’s always hard to see the good ones leave but we are sure excited for their future together!
A big thank you to Roy Durbin for the opportunity to train and show this great horse for so many years.
We are confident he is in great hands with Taylor James Peters and Madeline.

2020 Bay mare Travelin Annie is available. Cute mare with the sweetest disposition. Darren bred this filly and has ridden generations on the bottom side of this mares papers.

This mare is beautiful on the profile and easy to get along with. Moves pretty enough to go the ranch riding route, stops big enough to be a breakaway horse. We have started roping the sled on her.
She has only been down the fence a handful of times, she is proficient in the boxing and very non pro friendly. This mare is incredibly EASY!

Our new place here in Canyon is coming together. We still have projects underway but we are open for business! RV hookups are in, cattle pens are complete, and the roping setup is in progress.

Congratulations to Roy Durbin and Bet Hesa A Cool Cat on their success in the Select Amateur Boxing class. The duo ended up 13th in a very tough class and 2nd in the Super Select! 🏅🍾
