Started Father’s Day out at 05:15 and by 08:30 my family, a few friends and I were working protection dogs back to back for several hours. It’s our Father’s Day Tradition at The Iron Canine: Work dogs with Dad!
By 13:00 my son, David and myself took showers and packed our bags to catch a flight to Park City, Utah with our K9 “Remo” to let Remo participate in a working interview with Summit County Sheriff Office as they’re newest Patrol K9.
An official press statement will come later; but for now I will proudly say congratulations K9 Deputy Remo on your newest assignment with the Sheriff’s Department. May you continue to bring joy and smiles to everyone with whom you interact with.

Canyon Farmers Market training session with Doberman pups “Red” and “Axel”, rockstar GSD “Legacy”, behavioral rehabilitation pupil “Bishop”. And of course “Tina” was there teaching the pups the what’s what to public decency and social etiquettes!!

FIELD TRIP for “Roscoe” and his pal “Oliver”
These two fellas had the opportunity to practice their newfound obedience and leash etiquette skills at Lowe’s today. Changing up the environment for a little additional proofing is always a worthwhile and important step to gaining some better consistency.
