I am blown away and humbled every day. This is how many books I have sold since I published last October. I am by no means raking in lots of dough but I think I am helping handlers and pet owners have a better life with their dogs. So many k9 handlers are struggling with their partners and most of the time jUsT UsE MoRe StIm is NOT the answer. It doesn’t work when the relationship is fu**ed. I have received so many great messages from guys who tell me my book was the best $15 they have spent to get it right. If you can’t get to one of my seminars it’s ok. The book is my entire seminar.

After a 15 hour flight to Atlanta and a quick 1.5 hour flight home we have made it back. I can’t express enough what an amazing trip this has been. The resort was perfect, the staff was exceptional, and the guides and trackers were real pros at their jobs. We didn’t know everyone in our group but we made fast friends with everyone. This picture is from the airstrip before we flew out of the bush yesterday. Many people have asked but our friend, who set the whole trip up, used Inspirato to book all details of the trip. The company who owns the lodges is called &beyond. Everything was thought of. It was literally flawless. We will go back in 2 years for sure. It’s not a cheap trip however Inspirato lets you make payments starting a year out from the trip. We couldn’t have done it otherwise. Once there anything you decide to buy is cheap as heck. All of the meals we had in Cape Town were a fraction of the cost we pay here for dinners out.

We just finished several sets of Out and Recall. Lots of bites. Now he has to do 20-30 mins in a down stay with the gear in the room. I do have the handler occasionally reward him with a piece of food. His impulse control needs work so we make him chill.

Reshuffling my challenge coin collection. Every seminar I have, or conference I teach at, some guys will give me coins. I absolutely love it. Many of them were brought specifically to give to me by people who listen to the podcast. I am always humbled by that. There are some badass coins in this collection. I have a flag to start displaying them on. That will live at the Funhouse
