Off Leash K9 Training is an off-leash dog training business teaching 100% obedience to dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. We specialize in private lessons, dog behavior consultations, and teaching owners to understand why their dogs do the things they do in order to create a strong bond between the owner and dog. The “Leave It” command is one of the most important skills a dog can learn because it can prevent accidents, injuries, and unwanted behaviors.
It can stop a dog from picking up dangerous items such as medications, toxic foods, dead animals, trash or sharp objects.
Lacey is a very food motivated pup - this was a hard skill for her but important enough to keep at it. She seems to have mastered it!

We Are Family!!
Lacey, Golden, is in the middle of her board and train. While Mojo completed the program long ago. Mojo is visiting his trainer while his owners are out of town.
When your pup comes through our program, they are family for life! They receive continued support and often come back to stay with us while owners travel.
After a day of training, these two are patiently waiting for the grill to light up and burgers to sizzle!

This is what neutrality looks like!
Lacey, Golden Retriever and Glacé, Aussie join their buddy Jovie for some advanced training. Lacey is enrolled in our 2 week board and train program while Glacé is enrolled in our private lessons package. Our board and train as well as our lesson clients get opportunities to work obedience around other dogs in public settings - a huge benefit with all our advanced training packages!

Golden Retriever, Lacy, is 3 years old and our newest Board and Train member. She is doing amazing bringing her obedience into the real world during her first field trip. Today she worked alongside Iroh, an amazing client who was is showing fantastic progress in our lesson program.

Jack, a 1 year old hound mix came to us struggling with strong reactivity toward both people and dogs. His family loves spending time outdoors - from ball games, to camping trips and hiking adventures - and wanted to help him learn how to safely and confidently be part of these experiences.

After completing our 2 week Board and Train program, Jack has made huge progress learning neutrality, relaxation, and how to navigate the world with his family by his side. This owner update says it all - calmly relaxing at a busy ballgame, taking everything in stride, and enjoying the moment with his family!
