I just wanted to take a moment to clarify a few things and set some expectations.
I do my best to keep my work and personal life separate, so please note that I’m off on Sundays and Mondays. When I return, I often have a full inbox, but I do my best to respond to everyone as quickly as possible.
I run a small, at-home grooming business, and it’s just me (and my bather). I handle all grooming, scheduling, bookkeeping, and communication myself — so sometimes it takes a little time to get back to everyone. During the day, I’m usually booked back-to-back so I typically dont respond during the day so I can give each pup my full attention and care.
My other groomer recently moved on to a great new opportunity, which means I’ve been receiving even more messages than usual. If you haven’t heard back from me, please don’t hesitate to send a quick follow-up text — I don’t mind reminders!
Because this is a sole, one-person business, sometimes life happens. Things come up — appointments run long, emergencies happen, or I simply need a moment to breathe. I always do my best to communicate, but I can’t please everyone. If that’s an issue or you need a business that runs differently, I completely understand — you are welcome to find another groomer.
Lastly, I’m still switching systems, and with so many clients, it’s taking time to get everything updated. If your reminder shows a different time than what you have down, please reach out so we can make sure everything matches.
