Well, the relief was short lived. Maria has been admitted back into hospital as of this evening. Her white blood cell count is high and they can’t get her heart rate under control. That’s all we know as of right now. As we find out more, we will keep everyone posted.

UPDATE!!!!
Ok, I know it has been a few days and everyone is wondering what is going on. I am happy to report that Maria came home Friday evening!!! The doctors still aren't 100% clear on what caused the infection, but they are working on it. She is on new medications and she is seeing new doctors. She has to get more blood work done this week, so hopefully that will give us some more answers or at least a little bit of insight or point us in the right direction. I have been passing along everyone's prayers and well wishes and good thoughts. We'd like to thank everyone who took the time to let us know they cared. It is all very much appreciated!

Update on Maria

We found out she does have an infection around her heart. She is receiving antibiotics and other medications to combat it. All of the thoughts and prayers you have asked to be sent have been passed along. She thanks each and everyone of you from the bottom of her heart. Once we have more information, we will update. Thank you once again for all of your support and prayers during this time.

We will be closed today, March 31st. Maria was admitted to the hospital around 3:00am with a possible infection around her heart. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
