We still desperately need sponsors for 5 of the 6 kittens scheduled to be fully vetted next week. Each kitten’s vetting is approximately $150 and includes the care they need to safely prepare for adoption.

Any amount truly helps and goes directly toward their medical care. Without additional support, we simply will not be able to continue taking in more cats in need.

Our wonderful friend Sam took a chance on rehabbing our little Elvis. 🖤

Even though we had Elvis from a young age, he remained very semi-feral after months in rescue. He wouldn’t approach people, avoided human interaction, and was extremely difficult to catch. We knew he needed the right environment and the right person willing to be patient with him.

With time, consistency, and a calm home free of small kids and chaos, Sam completely changed Elvis’s world. Now Elvis is thriving, happy, comfortable, and loving life with Sam and his kitty sister. 🐾

Stories like this are why we never give up on the shy ones. Sometimes they just need the right person to understand them. Thank you, Sam, for seeing the potential in our sweet boy and giving him the life he deserved. ❤️

Our foster Amber Devinney has been absolutely amazing through all of this. ❤️ We spent our entire Memorial Day afternoon bathing six kittens, deep cleaning, and sanitizing while trying to get everyone feeling better.

Unfortunately, our kittens are dealing with some pretty severe upset stomachs/diarrhea right now. The good news is they are still active, playful, and eating well, which we are very thankful for. 🙏

Tomorrow we will be getting testing done and starting back over on some of our basic protocols to make sure we get everyone healthy and thriving again.

Unfortunately, donations have still been incredibly slow lately, and we are really in need of items from our “Most Wanted” wish list right now. We also still only have a couple of our kittens sponsored for their spays next week. Every donation, wish list item, share, or sponsor truly helps us continue caring for these babies while we get them healthy and ready for adoption.

Rescue is not always glamorous, but these kittens are worth every second. Thank you to everyone continuing to support us during a really stressful week.

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸❤️

While we enjoy time with family, friends, and the comfort of home, we’re also grateful for the heroes who made that possible. At A Tabby Cat’s Dream Rescue, we’re especially thankful for the veterans, military families, and supporters who continue to show kindness not only to people, but to animals in need as well.

This Memorial Day, we’re spending time caring for the kittens and cats who rely on us every day, and we’re reminded how important compassion and second chances truly are.

kittens currently in our care, donations and supplies have really slowed down, and we’re struggling to keep up with everything they need. Food, litter, cleaning supplies, medications, and enrichment items add up quickly with this many babies depending on us every day.

Right now, A Tabby Cat’s Dream Rescue has 8 kittens in care that need food, litter, enrichment, medical care, and eventually their spay/neuter surgeries before they can be adopted into loving homes.

So far, only 1 kitten’s surgery has been sponsored.
Each kitten costs approximately $150 to fully vet and prepare for adoption.

We are currently in need of:
• Kitten food
• Litter
• Beds & blankets
• Toys & enrichment items
• Cleaning supplies
• Donations toward vetting and spay/neuters
