Great news. . . . . we have added hours and more appointment options!!!🙌🥳🎉
We want to be the practice that says, "come on down" when you call us for help! So, we are going to be gradually adding later hours and more appointment options for your pets throughout the remainder of 2026.
*Here are the schedule updates for August:
- Monday thru Wednesday, open 8am to 4pm
- Thursdays, open 8am to 6pm
- Fridays, open 8am to 5:30pm
- Our lunch times will be staggered so that we can remain open and available to you throughout the day. (We appreciate your patience with us for a monthly team meeting closure.)
*In addition to our schedule updates, we have added the following appointment options:
- A few SAME DAY illness/injury appointments will be available throughout the day on a first-come-first-served basis.
- "Day Hospital" appointments will be available daily for pets that have illness or injuries like. . . . . . .
*torn or broken toenails (ouch!)
*ear infections
*eye injuries
*minor wounds
*urinary trouble
*vomiting and/or diarrhea
*coughing and/or sneezing
*overnight seizures
*inappetence
*lethargy
*dietary indiscretion (ate something silly)
*diabetic issues
*won't take oral medications
*sudden onset lameness or limping
DAY HOSPITAL APPOINTMENTS: This option will NOT involve an increased exam fee and all diagnostics, care and medications will be provided at REGULAR COSTS. During their time with us, our team will be providing your pets with love, attention, hygiene, clean cages, snacks and potty time, brushing, and occasional karaoke performances depending on your pets' preferences.
- your pet will be assigned to a technician and admitted early in the day for care to be provided throughout the day with FAH. Your assigned technician will consult with one of our DVMs to determine necessary diagnostics and treatments and then will call you periodically with questions, updates, plans/recommendations/estimates, and a discharge time.
- you are welcome and encouraged to bring anything from home that might comfort your pet while they are with us for the day, including bedding, toys, food, treats, family photos, or a fond item that smells like and reminds them of home.
- we would be happy to bring you back into our hospital area so that you can see where your pet will be for the day. You can even set up their hospital cage/kennel however you like!
- our team understands that it may be difficult to drop your pet off for the day with us. We know that their favorite place is always with you. 💞🏡🤱 Our hope is that this option will allow us to provide care for more pets and help you to avoid a trip to the ER whenever possible. We appreciate you trusting us with your pet's care and promise to take very good care of them throughout their visit with us.
