Spring is in the air and kitten season is upon us. Spaying your cat is one of the most important things you can do for your cat's health.
Some facts about female cats.
🐱A female cat can go into heat as early as 4-6 months of age.
🐱🐱A female cat can go into heat every 2–3 weeks during breeding season and pregnancy lasts only about 63 days (9 weeks).
🩸Note: Cats (unlike dogs) should not have a discharge when they are in heat. If they do, this is an emergency.
🐱🐱🐱Because of this, a single unspayed cat can have 2–3 litters in one year.
🐱🐱🐱🐱 Average litter size: 4–6 kittens
🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀 Possible kittens in one year: 8–18 kittens

🐈🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛Those kittens can start having kittens of their own as early as 4–6 months of age.

Just recently, we found one on an indoor cat's eyelid and another was removed from a dog’s belly (thankfully, it wasn't attached!).

I've been looking for articles with factual information regarding the upcoming eclipse. I've found through Texas A&M University, who we use for some of our specialty blood panels.
