Poor Matilda was extra nervous and timid at Tractor Supply Co. today. 🥺 But as soon as a couple puppies showed up, she was so much happier. Other dogs make everything better. 🖤

The shepherd puppy was a customer’s and the little black puppy is adoptable Maxwell from Dreams Come True Rescue.

And thank you to Geoff from Tractor Supply for having us and all the support! 😊

She may look very serious, and she may be the quiet, reserved one at adoption events, but I promise you this girl is so sweet and silly once she knows you. 🖤

Matilda and I will be at Tractor Supply Co. in Lebanon again this Saturday from 10am-12pm if anyone wants to come say hi! 🐾

Time for a happy update! Koda has been in his home for 7 months and is doing so well! He’s become best friends with one of his feline siblings, finally decided he didn’t mind snow, has gotten to meet lots of dog friends, and “enjoys long car rides to his grandparents' house.” 🥹🥹

Okay guys, Molly has been with us WAY too long. She’s such a good dog and she needs her own home again. 🖤

Is she a dog for everyone? Nope. Is she an easy dog? Not really. Is she going to melt into your arms instantly? Nah, she’s too busy for that. 🙃

She’s high energy, incredibly smart, a bit too much for little kids, reactive and does not like other dogs, and needs to be the only pet in the home. I know, it’s a lot.

BUT I CAN guarantee you she’ll make the best sidekick! She may not be a snuggler, but she wants to be with you. She’s friendly with all people. She wants to chew a bone next to you on the couch and go for walks in the woods with you. She wants to make intense eye contact with you while she poops. 😅

Molly thrives with routine, training, and knows all kinds of things - sit, down, leave it, wait, stay, here, place, kennel, and some agility. She’s muzzle trained, potty trained, crate trained. ✅ She’s lived in a house before so she knows the drill.

We love this dog but living here is not the life she deserves. We’re looking for a unicorn of a home where she can be someone’s one and only. 🦄

The State of NH Department of Agriculture oversees and licenses shelters and rescues. Under state regulation AGR 1705.05, licensed shelters and rescues in NH are only allowed to foster animals due to medical or behavior reasons.

The state says pregnant and nursing animals, and neonatal puppies and kittens don’t qualify for foster care because those circumstances aren’t currently considered a medical or behavioral requirement under the state’s regulation.

A bill was proposed to change this so that pregnant and nursing animals, and neonatal puppies and kittens *would* qualify for foster care. After a controversial amendment was made to the bill about livestock cruelty investigations, it may now not pass.

Thank you to everyone from Survivors Paws Animal Rescue Inc, Dreams Come True Rescue and Jezzie's Place Rescue for bringing your adoptable pups yesterday! It was a great day and ended with some adoptions! Thank you to everyone who came to see the dogs, get a hot dog, and donate to the rescue! All in all, we were able to donate 3 bags of dog food, 2 leashes, 2 bowls, 2 bags of dog treats, and a dog bed to them!! ❤️🥳🥰

Thanks to Volvo Volkswagen of Lebanon for having us at today’s adoption event! Matilda was definitely a bit overwhelmed at so much going on but was such a good girl, and loved hanging out with all the dogs. She especially loved Pickles, Levi, and Daisy Mae. All the dogs honestly did so well today! 🖤

Sally the brown houndy girl is adoptable through Dreams Come True Rescue. Levi, Pickles, Daisy Mae, and Remi are adoptable through Survivors Paws Animal Rescue Inc.
