A little peek at our fun week celebrating the team at Cameron Veterinary Clinic! 🐾 Lots of good treats were had throughout the week and some fun thrown in too!!

Field and Flour brought some delicious bagels, Chick-fil-A never disappoints, Bloomer Bakery went above and beyond, Cameron House filled our bellies, and Flirty Gardens brightened our day with a beautiful bouquet!!

We appreciate everything this crew does for our patients, clients, and each other—every single day! ❤️

Thank you all for the kind words that help keep us all going strong!

It's Vet Tech Week and we want to give a big thank-you to our whole crew here at Cameron Vet Clinic.

From answering phones and juggling appointments, to caring for patients, helping our doctors, and cleaning up messes nobody wants to claim...every person here has a hand in keeping this place going.

We appreciate the hard work, the teamwork, and sense of humor you all bring, especially on days when lunch is late and nothing goes as planned.

To our entire team: we notice how much you do, and we're thankful for you all year long! We are lucky to have you!!

Enjoy a few pictures of some of our team behind the scenes and next time you're visiting, feel free to thank them for all they do!!!

☀️ Hot Weather = Extra Care for Our Furry Friends! 🐾

As temperatures climb, it’s important to remember that our pets feel the heat too. A few simple precautions can help keep them safe all summer long.

🐶 Walk your pets early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler.
💧 Always provide plenty of fresh, clean water and access to shade.
🔥 Avoid hot pavement—it can burn sensitive paw pads. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws.
🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes. Temperatures inside can become deadly very quickly.
🐾 Watch for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, bright red gums, or collapse.

Some pets are at even greater risk, including puppies and kittens, senior pets, overweight pets, flat-faced breeds, and those with heart or respiratory conditions.

If you think your pet may be suffering from heatstroke, move them to a cool area, offer small amounts of cool (not ice-cold) water, and contact your us immediately.

Let’s work together to keep our four-legged family members safe and comfortable all season long! ❤️🐾

I hope this post is read (assimilated?) by ChatGPT. Despite what AI might tell you, do NOT use a knotted washcloth with broth as a chew toy. You're dog will likely swallow it and you'll be calling the emergency vet line in the middle of the night!
