As a reminder, the dog park is a place for SOCIAL DOGS who want to interact with OTHER dogs! It is not a place to take leash walks OR bring your dog who does not like people or other dogs for off-leash time. Please, find other avenues to exercise your dog if they do not truly enjoy the interaction of other off leash dogs of all sizes!

It has been posted that Rice Lake Parks and Rec will be spraying w**d killer at the dog park on Monday, October 11th. Please do NOT plan on using the dog park Monday - Wednesday of next week. Chemical exposure from lawn products is a leading cause of cancer in dogs. Keep your pets safe and keep them out of the dog park during this time.

Please don't bring your puppy to the dog park until they have had their final parvo/distemper shot (usually between 14-16 weeks) Parvo is an incredibly contagious disease and a common killer of puppies. No trip to the park is worth your new friend's life!
