This week for our Meet the Staff series, we’re highlighting Ocktavia, one of our amazing Veterinary Assistants! 🐾
Ocktavia has been at Companion Animal Hospital for 3.5 years.
At home, Ocktavia has four pets: Visha, a 1.5-year-old Rottweiler/Black Lab mix, and three cats—Boots (4-year-old long hair), Blue (6-year-old long hair), and Tigger (6-year-old orange tabby).
If Ocktavia were a dog, she would be a husky—she’s been told she talks a lot!
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at rivers and lakes, fishing, gardening, and being with her partner and animals. If she could own any animal, it would be a fennec fox—they’re super cute and she loves how vocal they are!
🐶 Would You Rather unlimited free scrubs or unlimited free coffee?
Ocktavia chose unlimited scrubs—although she said it was a tough decision!
We’re so happy to have Ocktavia on our team! 💙🐾
