Bee stings can happen fast this time of year, especially for curious pups 🐝

Here’s what to watch for and what to do:
• Sudden yelping or pawing at the face or mouth
• Swelling, especially around the muzzle or eyes
• Limping if stung on the paw

If your pet is stung:
• Stay calm and remove the stinger if you can see it
• Apply a cool compress to help with swelling
• Monitor closely for any signs of an allergic reaction

⚠️ Seek immediate care if you notice:
• Difficulty breathing
• Vomiting or weakness
• Severe swelling

When in doubt, give us a call. It’s always better to be safe when it comes to stings.

I'm not sure why they are after vet offices, as we saw Guernsey Veterinary Clinic's post as well, but they are being relentless. Please be aware.
