This past Saturday was World Veterinary Day. While this post comes a little later, the appreciation remains the same.

While we appreciate our doctors everyday, please help us in celebrating our doctors on World Veterinary Day! Each day, these hardworking individuals put in hours of their expertise and care into the health of your pets. Their sincerity is immeasurable, as their careers aren’t a simple job, but a lifestyle.

We will close adoption applications for this animated young lady tomorrow so that we can go through them, arrange meet n greets and get her in her new home quickly! As a reminder, Anastasia (AKA Anna Banana) is 8 weeks old, would do best in a home with another young cat and will need to be an indoor only cat. If you're interested in her, call, text or email the hospital to get an application.

Who needs a kitten?!? Meet Anastasia! Dr. Jenn rescued her Easter weekend dodging cars in the middle of the road (hence the name Anastasia, which is Greek for 'resurrection'). Now that we know she's healthy, she's ready for adoption! She loves to play, eat and purr! While we're doing our best to teach her proper kitten manners, she would benefit from another cat in the household to mentor her. Preferably a cat old enough to teach but young enough to help wear her out! The adopters need to be AKVH clients (we love continuing to see pets we've adopted out!) and, while there is no adoption fee, her new owners will have to finish her kitten shots and have her spayed with us. Call, text or email if you're interested in meeting her and filling out an adoption application.
