This cutie pie was dropped off at a client's house by the CDS (cat distribution system) and they couldn't say no! Given his color and time of year, he was aptly named Pumpkin! Post pictures of your Halloween kitties!

Internet & phones are currently out. We can get voice and text messages. Verizon is working on the issue.

As many of you have witnessed, we are STILL having IT problems. After replacing necessary equipment, we learned today that the internet is out from the street to the building. Our mobile hot spot is intermittent at best. Please be patient knowing that we frequently cannot email, call or text, especially if you are waiting on lab work results or a call from a doctor. We are doing the best we can with what we have. Thank you for understanding.

As it turns out, the severe storm last Thursday irreparably damaged our switches and phones. Until the new equipment arrives, we are doing the best we can with temporary patches. We can reroute phone calls to one personal phone but, because that one person cannot keep up with the numbers of calls, many will go to voice mail. We are accessing and answering those as quickly as possible. Texting may possibly be faster. We hope to be fully back to speed next week. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Please be patient with us! We're not sure if this is due to the thunderstorm last night but our server is not connecting to the internet. That means we have no phone service or computers/payment options. We are working with IT to get this figured out. In the meantime, texts are being forwarded to our phones so that is the only way to reach us. Thank you for understanding.

Can all dogs swim? 🐶🌊

100% of our followers voted no! Our staff had a few mixed opinions, but the majority also voted no.

It was interesting to learn that while many dogs can paddle instinctively, not every dog is built for swimming.

Breeds with flat faces, such as Bulldogs, Pugs, Boston Terriers, and Boxers, can have a harder time keeping their noses above water. Dogs with heavy, barrel-shaped bodies, short legs and long backs, or thick coats may also find swimming more challenging than other breeds.

No matter the breed, you should always supervise pets around water! Here are a few simple water safety tips to help keep your pets safe this summer! ☀️
